Having some "swapping end issues" since doing a load of work on the car so I guess it's got to be suspension set up issue

are the rear wheels toeing in ?
if they toe out for any reason (clipped kerb etc) , handling will get nasty , esp with back end stepping out
radius arm adjusters can move sometimes (depending on make / quality)
also check tyre pressures , lower on back can make back swing out a bit to start a spin (oversteer)
also what tyres / condition , diesel / oil on road can also liven things up
