I always wondered why the plastic tensioner on my mpi was wonky. Now that I'm in the process of changing the water pump it's all become clear: the nut is no longer on the bolt!

Does anyone know the size of the nut that holds the plastic wheel in place please?

Thanks all :-)

Fantastic! It's metric, which saves my arse a bit as I'm on the continent.

Cheers for that Nick ;-)

Has anyone replaced one of these with a normal length m8 nut? I can't see why this one has to be twice the length of a standard nut, but I'm no expert. Surely if a socket will fit inside the pulley, a standard nut would do fine wouldn't it?
