Hi,

Just exploring whether it is possible to get a pre A+ 1098 mini engine block and match it with a mk1 magic wand type gearbox. Would it fit straight on or would I need to do any modifications?

If the 1098 block won't fit is there any block that will? (other than my original 848 block)

Thanks

You may have clearance problem,s with the crank, i put a 1098 on a 1275 gearbox (both auto), and had to use the powerfile where 3 of the 4 big end was hitting. It was only several millimetres.
