Hi there

New to the forum - just bought a restored 2000 Mini Cooper Sport in Tahiti Blue with Silver Mirrors/Roof and the black/silver interior

12858 on the clock - been sitting in storage for last 3-4 years since the restore

During the restore the original VIN plate was lost and replaced with the wrong type of plate and only showing the VIN number

I have got a replacement VIN plate but am struggling to determine what goes into the following boxes :

PAINT:
TRIM:

Can anyone shed any light on the exact display for this paint code combination of Tahiti / silver roof mirrors
And trim code ?

Though do you know on the Mini Cooper sport - did the JRJ/ (silver colour of roof & mirrors) - display on the VIN as 2 colours ?

The trim code is on the part number of the nickle/black interior which you can see on rimmerbros website.

Normally a multi-colour Mini would show a single paint code on the VIN which relates to the combination. Have a look at the 'comb of' listings on http://forums.mg-rov...de-list-289950/. I'm guessing yours is RGU or RGV.
