Today i took my mini to Beaulieu for the first time for 9 years with my son and best mate, a cracking day was had by all of us i even got to meet Fuzz Townsend from Car sos, what a top bloke he took did'nt mind having a photo taken and even got him to sign my sun visor! He did an interview with Graeme Robson which was so interesting to listen to including behind the scenes of car sos and his early life in music.

There were loads of very nice minis of all types and I would recommend this show to anyone.

I'd heard it was a TOP event. I'd love to get along one year.

It's a great show. My favourite by a long chalk (helps it 12 miles from home with twisty lanes in between!). Loads of trade stores, auto jumble, the museum, monorail etc etc. Probably not worth a round the world flight for but bloody good nonetheless!

Nice looking Mini! Glad you enjoyed it, usually a very good show! I live less than 15 minutes drive to Beaulieu and didn't manage to get there this year!

We moved into a house last October and decorating has taken priority over my poor Mini and I just need to get round to finishing a few mods  before she's ready to show.....ah well there's always next year!!!

Cheers, Steve

It was the first time I've been to the show, Was a great day and some great minis there. Mine ran perfectly all weekend just didn't make it back home today though >_< was about 10 miles away going along at 60mph and the passengers rear wheel bearing locked up solid  O_O, was very lucky with it.

Brilliant photos! We also went and had a great time, so many awesome Minis to check out. First time out in mine since I got my hands dirty under the bonnet for the first time - apart from a couple of new rattles and a sticky throttle pedal it made the trip ok :)

Thanks to everyone who came to Beaulieu and made it such a great day.  Thanks also to the small team from the Mini Cooper Register who work so hard to make the event what it is.

Bit far for me but it's on my to do list too.

I saw fuzz at the NEC last year, he's a big fella ain't he?! I used to enjoy "The Poppies" as they were known too :)

Hi Jonny

If you wanted a TMF stand - all you had to do was ask for a space and you could have happily had one.

This could either have been as a club area display, which would be free, or a trade stand at £45. Perhaps next year, get in touch with the Mini Cooper Register and organise something for TMF - we'd love to see you..

Robert
