Hi;

Well after three years of waiting I finally managed to get my project to the National Mini Cooper Register.

Set off Friday and 16:00 after collecting the wife from work, stayed with family in West Dorset on Friday night and then more family in East Dorset on Sat night. On Sunday morning we set off for Beaulieu and arrived at about 08:45.

It was a great event with lots to see and do - I even managed to say hello and shake Paddy Hopkirk's hand.

I'll post up some photos when I get them online.

Couple of things that I was surprised about:

There was no TMF club area?

I was charged £28 (£14 per person) I am sure on the Beaulieu web site it said one ticket per eligible car (a Mini)?

Advance Tickets on MCR website were:-

Entry per person £11.00 in advance or £6.00 for a child and allows entry to the Beaulieu complex.

£14 on the show gate but remember includes Beaulieu Motor Museum and attractions.

A pretty good deal as it normally costs £24.75 per adult ticket to enter Beaulieu without a car show:-
