Hi all

I purchased one of these wiper delay modules from Minispares

http://minispares.co...|Back to search

When I removed the shroud of my mini to connect the 5 pin connectors I discovered mine hasnt got any 5 pin connectors anywhere.
I have a 1999 Jap Spec Rover mini.

This is what I have:

There was no year or anything mentioned on the minispares site so assumed it was correct for my application, but isnt.

So what minis does this module fit then?

Thankyou in advance

Pretty sure it's designed for pre 97 minis, I have one in mine (minitrailers version) but plugs in the same way. Being a 97 on your car should have intermittent wipers as standard anyway (MPi stalks?)

Oh ok. Would have been good if minispares had mentioned that.

Mpi stalks?..... I assume so:

Indicators on the left and turning it turns lights on and off. Wipers on the right and pulling lever up squirts the water and makes it wipe.

Thankyou for your input

How then do I make the intermittent function work?

The MPI wiper stalks has 4 positions: 1. Off. 2. Intermittent wipe 3. 1x speed, 4. 2x speed.
To change positions, you twist on the stalk. To activate wash, you pull down the stalk.

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I'm working from memory here...

Good memory! +pull lever down to wipe once, like on 'modern' cars.
