I tried for ages to find one of these. In the end I bought another steering wheel and sold the old one on ebay.

Does anyone now of a quick release that fits the older type mountney steering wheels 10cm diameter across the opposing bolt holes and/or 5cm between each hole going round. 6 bolt holes
I've looked for some time and can't find one, I can only assume they're not available. The best solution is to buy the 101 to 70 pcd adapter ring and fit a 70 pcd snap off boss.

PCD stands for Pitch Circle Diameter, Its the diameter of the circle that is used for the centre of the fitting holes in the wheel.
If you want to see an adapter plate look at this link http://www.scarbro-r...mechanisms.html

He's an interesting character, he's of an age where it's now more of a hobby than a business (hence the restricted opening hours) but he really knows his stuff. They look good. It's a real old school shop with boxes piled high all over the floor and lots of dusty shelves but he turns over a lot of steering wheels and bosses.
I called in the other day and bought a very nice wheel and boss from him.

Hi,
It would seem Scarborough Racing Developments are no longer with us
Anyone found an alternative source for the adapter plate please?
Cheers :)
