Ive got minitastic springs (fast road) on my mini 30 and there great, been on for 5 years no problem, they ride pot holes and speed bumps at (moderate) speed. However i have standard rsp alloy,s and gaz adjustable shocks. I am aware of the negative press and know people tend to go for or against on the issue. I am also aware of cheap ,dodgy versions out there.
Second this.
It’s early a marmite subject and I’ve taken a bit of abuse. Though I do respect the views of the donut fraternity, if you can give a sprung car a test drive, do it and see if it’s for you. We love ours, they’re fitted to an MPI that was built up for enjoying on the road. We’ve done near 1000 mile in the last few weeks, including a 6 hour drive down and 6 hour drive back to IMM.
