Hi there I am not sure if there if a chat already started on this topic.
But I have what appears to be a 1991 1275cc Japanese made mini with a AC unit that is carbureted.. I need to replace my Belts for the a.c. Alternator and I am trying to figure out which product to use.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Kevin

Maybe look at the Gates catalogue if  nothing comes up on the mini specialist parts websites?

Belts are of a standard length in any car - so if you can workout what the belt size is it's easy to just get another one from an automotive supplier.

Part numbers are normally something like xxxyyy ...where the xxx = the belt type / shape and the yyy = length in MM.

I had the same problem with my 16V conversion, as moving the alternator shorted the belt ... I just measured the length and crossed referenced.  You might even find it's used on another common fitment ..makes it even easier to order.
