The girl in the passenger seat must have some more "bulk" since the Moke floats kind of leaning to that side. ;D

Yes, I saw those girls,,,,,,, errrrr,,,,,, mmmmm,,,, that Moke the other day. A neat bit of kit that one and sure adds another dimension to 'Moking'.

 

The idea though isn't new (with Mokes), Hans Tholstop first (I believe) put a Moke on to an Inflatable Raft (an Avon no less) back around 1974 and went from Tasmania to Main Land Australia as part of one of his adventures, that one ending at the Tip of Cape York.

 

He did it again a few years later with an Aluminum Pontoon under a Moke and went for a cruise (with fellow adventurer Dick Smith) around Sydney Harbour. Hans was a friend of our Moke Club and came many times to give talks.

 

I still don't have a means of posting photos, as I have some of these sailing adventures.
