Hi everyone!

Please excuse any mistakes I've made in formatting/posting.. this is my first post. I did search for the topic but "car cover" just gave me lots of info about insurance!

Anyway. I'm receiving an amazing gift from a family member:

It's a modified 1968 mini. He's going to be kept in a covered garage here in Australia, but I want to protect him from the sea air, bird poo, nosy neighbours, all that.

Can anyone recommend me a cover that will fit a car that has a different shape like mine? It doesn't have to be heavy duty or waterproof but I would like it to fit well- the wind sometimes rips through the floor that he'll be parked on.

Thank you so so much in advance for any help you can give!

Nice car!! Is it an ERA?

I use this one - http://www.minispare...03.aspx|Back to

Its parked in my garage, with this cover on it, primarily as its so dusty in there following a new build, but will need to store outside at some point over the winter. It was highly recommended to me. It fits quite tight so should not whip on the body in high winds.

Thank you so much for the reply!

I'm embarrassed to say I don't know what a ERA is... I'm a bit new at this...

I did look at the stormforce covers, they look amazing- I'm just wondering whether they would be a bit much for the Australian climate. It gets pretty hot and humid here, do you think something lighter might suit better?

Does it fit your car well? Do you think that a cover designed for a non soft top, traditional shaped mini would fit mine? Bearing in mind that it's been modified?

Thanks for your reply!

Mine is a StormForce cover :-) I've yet to use it outside of the garage but chose it for the best of both worlds, rain and sun..! The fit is very tight, so if the "pram frame" rear section of the soft top pokes out further than a tin top I don't know how well it would fit.
Its a very good cover though.
ERA minis, have a google search, I think they were all turbo charged too. Quite rare.

Looks like a genuine rover Cabrio to me. Bodykit from the side is identical and it has what looks to be wind down glass rear windows....
