Hello,

 

I remember reading, a couple of years ago, about some aluminium indicator/wiper stalks and was wondering whether anyone had any info on who produced these or whether they're available at all. I've looked all over, but unless I'm missing it just can't now find any info about them.

 

I've got a vague recollection that they were a period item or might have been fitted to other vehicles (perhaps some MGs?) although I think I read about someone who had reproduced a small number of them...

 

Hoping that someone can shed some light on it, not least of all to reassure me that I'm not going mad!

I know a guy who makes billet ones for other cars, not Mini's though.

A member called minibalmy used to make them. I have on both my minis, nicely made.

r3k1355 - yes, that's the one (I think)! Annoying that they're evidently no longer available. Can't believe no-one else is making them!

 

miniallsort and Sleepy Stu - no-one is impressed; they're horrible and I don't know why anyone would want them!!

Hi all,

I made these a few years back, I did them in polished, Matt black, satin and manufactured one special set for one lucky member that were polished to a mirror finish then gold plated.

These were custom made for £30 a set from scratch as I didn’t want to cash in on everyone’s love for their cars so we’re made affordable.

These come with full fitting instructions including step by step pictures.

I have a couple of messages in my inbox about these and some enquiries on a Facebook site, if I get enough interest I’ll make some more batches.
