So there where a few odd bits and pieces in my mini's boot when i bought it, i think somebody started stripping it down then just gave up. Anyway I've figured out everything except these last few parts, any help on what they are would be most appreciated.

(Ignore the broken bonnet spring in the top right)

Thanks! :proud:

but might be wrong

That was my initial thought, but I think it's not wide enough.

The 1100, 1300, 1500 and 1800 series as well as the Aust Moke had them.

Thanks guys, its defiantly not a wiper motor strap, its far to large and rigid. I cant see a use for it so i think its going in the bin!

the moment you do that -

you will realise what an important part you have thrown away

add it to the pile of - not quite sure what it is - but may be useful , only when thrown away

every garage should have a pile like that

That is almost certainly a bent wiper motor strap minus its rubber insulator, looks just like mine with elongated screw holes and one 'foot ' slightly longer than the other.

The thing on the left looks like half of an exhaust back box 'fitment'

There's a missing bit that has a couple of lugs that rubber mounting rings fit to the underside of the car

If you have a look at the bottom right of the image there are both bits and the rubber hangers.

Just a guess.

Rolf - cheers mate.

IMO, all Minis need them. I make a point of fitting one somewhere.
