I'm going to perform the test again tonight dry and a wet test, see what that throws up, I'm doubtful there's a cam in there as the idle is quite steady

I was worried about the low readings I've had but I'm starting to think it's just that my gauge reads low, unless you know it's calibrated then the difference between bores would be my only concern right now, the repeated tests with the throttle wide open will increase those anyway I reckon, good luck.

there are many many different types of tool for reading pressure i never compare one persons reading with mine or anyone elses as in addition to the different tools there is temperature. battery voltage (size), engine condition that are not the same.

 

but two reading left to right and right to left with plugs out and throttle fully open will give you a good base to understand the condition.

Ok re done the test! Test was carried out with all plugs removed and throttle wide open!

Dry

1 - 125
2 - 125
3 - 130
4 - 135

Wet ( 2 squirts of oil )

1 - 145
2 - 145
3 - 160
4 - 135
