Ok 998cc engine standard with HIF44 3 branch manifold.

123 gears pulls well but whn i get into 4 it seem to bog out and struggle to go much over 60mph?

What final drive ratio?

An HIF44 is too big for your engine - there will probably be an issue with fuelling.

Rolling road needed. As mentioned probably over fuelling as the carb is too big for the engine size. A HIF38 maybe better suited suitably re-jetted ie correct sized needle.

There are many things it could be.

The HIF44 is certainly too large for a 998 unless it is virtually a race engine, as the mixture will not be correct at certain revs.

It could be incorrect ignition timing, bad plugs, lack of compression, poor spark, wrong exhaust system as in too large a final outlet pipe, inaccurate cam timing or simply poor overall settings.

I had a similar problem only to find my dashpot piston wasn't rising and falling as it should. Although I am not running a Hif44 on a 998.
