I have a full SD cage, with door bars. I don't have much trouble getting in, but the door bars stop me pulling out the release handle on my standard seats to allow them to tilt forwards, which means you have to climb over the seats to get in the back. If you don't want door bars then there is still loads of room to get in the back. The other problem is that the bar that goes along the top of the windscreen stops you from using the sunscreens. Again, you'd get this with any full roll cage. All in all, my SD cage has great built quality and it built so that it doesn't get in the way, really good design.

Other options are a roll cage from Roll Centre.

Yea, mine is bolt in. I didn't put it in myself though, it was in there when I bought the car. I believe you can still buy them through MiniSpares/Sport/Speed.

Arggghhhh, not TT Lyle, isn't that the company that advertises in the back of the mags and describes them as 'show cages' because they wouldn't do so well in a crash? The stainless stell or chrome things?

i think he does do the show cages but mine aint,
he classed them as a "ROAD CAGE" not RACE
even so..........
i dont plan on testing it lol

when it comes to a roll cage go FIA approved, they are there for a reason! to save your life! not increase the chance of ending it! sorry to be blunt but when it comes to safty aspects as this i like to make a stand, if it where me id go SD (safty devices) they look good and do the job!
one of the things that is on my list is a full 6 pont SD cage.
