1994 Sprite, Mega low miles - 7683 from new. £8500 o.n.o located in Cheshire.
This is my wife's car which we bought some years ago for the kids to learn to drive in from a North West Classic car dealer who had taken it to sell for an elderly customer who had had to give up driving. Once we got it home we realised it was far to good to be abused by teenagers so we kept it for sunny days, local shows and making us smile.
It must be one of the most original examples left. The interior is completely standard apart from a modern radio and a speaker board under the rear seat, which could easily be removed if required.
Externally the only change I've made is to fit Rover Cooper alloys with brand new correct 145 section tyres so it drives exactly as it should, and a Maniflow Cat back RC40 exhaust to let the engine breath better.
Mechanically car has had 4 new genuine cones fitted with minisport Hi-Lows to correct the ride height (it hasn't been driven enough for the cones to settle yet!) and was fitted with new KYB gas-adjust shocks front and rear which has transformed the way the car drives. It really is better than new.

Like all Rover Mini's of this period the car did have some rust issues so last year it had a new rear valance and some repairs to the boot floor at Minidivision in Stockport who carried out the suspension refresh and attended to several items for the Mot such as a new rear wheel cylinder and a steering rack gaitor. The mot runs to March 2018.
The car is not completely rust free (are they ever?) but I think you would struggle to find a better one. There is some bubbling under the front bumper and the bottom corners of the inner wings need slight attention.
This car could easily be turned into a show winner if you wanted, its still got all the original features like the dealer number plates and rear window sticker and the original steel wheels and wheel trims can come with the car if required.
Reason for sale? its just never being used and with my never ending Pickup rebuild taking up the garage its a shame to leave it outside all the time.
