I am changing from my metric (315) steel wheels To a set of Austin metro 12" peeperpot alloy wheels (stamped NAM2728) ( 82) mk1 ?
What wheel nuts do I need ?
The wheels don't have tappers so I am guessing a sleeved tube with a flat washer type nut ?
Any help appreciated
Thanks

Sleeve nuts with flat washer, short shank 3/8 UNF.

Some for sale here

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172903883335

Probably find cheaper if you don't mind separate washers though. Watch the shank length as you'll bottom out before the wheels are tight if they're too long.

Thanks for that I have done a lot of searching for these and the ones you highlighted have been listed as a result of me asking the seller a question about another set he had advertised.
To be honest these are the only set I can find all the others like you say the sleeves are to long and would need to be modified .
The only ones that came close where D1's
Minispares went out of there way to help for which I was very grateful for but they even draw a blank.
Thanks again for your time but it looks like it's the eBay ones .

Make sure you buy the correct diameter also as the sleeve nuts vary in diameter quite a bit and should match the ID of the wheels.

The trader selling the nuts sent me the dimensions plus has now added them to the listing description.
They seem to be with in points of a mm difference between his dimensions and my wheels so though expensive seem like a safe bet .

Found the same nuts and checked the dimensions they are the same from johnspeed but £9 inc postage cheaper :)
