Hi,
Im looking for advice as to whether I should replace this radiator straight away or if it's fixable.

When checking the coolant reservoir tank I found it empty (and realised that the line I had assumed to be the level of liquid , between min / max, was in fact a stained tank!)

I had been driving the car with the reservoir empty but it hasn't been overheating.

After filling it and running it again I found that liquid is squirting out of the front of the radiator, from the front- top left hand corner.

Judging by the squirt, It must be a pin hole sized hole.

As far as I know it's the first radiator, the cars done 99000miles its a 2003 cooper.

Do you think it could be fixed or is that just temporary and avoiding the inevitable new rad ?

Many thanks

Replace it.

That's a good mileage covered, must be time to fit a new unit. Not worth messing about with Radfix.

Trust me !

It needs replacing. try a forum for BMW MINI's such as mini2.com, they may be able to tell you where you can obtain one at a competitive price. You will have noticed when you registered this is a site for classic Mini's.
