So, I'm rebuilding a pair of trailing arms - NEW pivot pin kits installed, refreshed backing plates & cable guides installed.  Move on to the assemble the first set of brake bits - NEW shoes, springs & adjuster.

 

PROBLEM - NEW adjuster will NOT thread into the backing plate & head is bigger than 5/16".  Brake wrench will NOT fit over it.
