Clearances/endfloat Changes?

My 1978 Haynes manual is the only one I've got that covers re-building the gearbox in detail - are the clearances the same for a series and A+?

They are very close to each other.

 

Idler Gear End Float for A type is 0.003 to 0.008" but all else is the same.

 

<EDIT: I've checked between Factory Manuals. I haven't check these against the Haynes manual to see if it aligns >
