by the way, before i go any further, i keep getting a virus flagged up by the index page.

Right, I have a problem with one of my lights not working on side and normal beam, so i have bought a multimeter because i couldnt find my light up screw driver.

What setting would i use to see if power is reaching the light (plug thingy behind light anyway)

Thanks

I had a similar problem, It was where the two earth cables from each headlamp joined on the front panel, pushed the cable back in and hey presto, i had lights! :gimme:

Sorted the side light out. Wires had split.

The normal beam is getting power, but the lamp is dead by looks.

Anyone got a sealed beam lamp or is it upgrade time???

You can get various H4 Halogen headlights from here:-

H4 Halogen 7" Light Units From Holden Vintage Classic

I think LUB383 is the correct Lucas H4 one for a Mini, but you could fit Wipac ones instead which are cheaper.

Get whatever you like, just don't get it from Mini Trailers!
