Hi all
I've searched the forums and faqs and can't really find an answer to this.

I have a '92 sprite into which I am putting a metro 1275 from '86.

From what I can gather, both should have a 65d electronic dizzy.

Neither the car nor the engine came with a dizzy so I need to buy new. Would the stock standard 65d dizzy from minispares have the correct advance curve for a stage 1 kit and 246 cam?

Also, I read with interest posts on reliability and spares keeping where 'older' points dizzies were said to be better. If I were to buy one of these it would be cheaper, so again would it suit a stage 1 kit and 246 cam with stock curve, and is my loom likely to be electronic dizzy specific and require modifications?

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts
Jon
