Did tyhe centre speedo wiring conversion ages ago and it works a treat. HOWEVER I have just swapped my centre speedo and instead of separate left and right indicator warning lamps it just has one.

So i  have wired  green and red AND green and white together to the one warning lamp in the centre speedo. NOW when I indicate either left or right BOTH indicators come on. Is this just a case of a bad earth or am I missing something here??? Really need a hand here as sods law itis my Mot tomorrow the 28th Oct so I only have a few hours in the morning to get this sorted.........Much appreciated.

The dash warning lamp is wired between both sides. The resistance of the bulb should be high enough to stop enough current flowing to the opposite side to light the bulbs. If it is the dash wiring then the bulb's faulty or is being shorted. The bulb holder is plastic to isolate it from the Speedo casing.

If it's not an electronic flasher it should be flashing very quickly. If it ain't, have you touched the hazard switch?
