Fitting Hi Lows

Hi Guys,

 

Just got around to fitting new cones to my mini cooper. When I split the ball end from the trumpet I noticed that there were two spacing washers.

 

Mini Spares part 21A1845

 

 

As the hi lows are adjustable, I don't think its necessary to refit these spacing washers as the high low will have the same functionality.

 

Please let me know if i'm correct to bin the spacing washers.

Hi Paul

 

You are correct in the fact that the spacing washers can be binned as the Hi-Lo's will provide adjustment of the suspension to the height you require.

Yep, only required with standard trumpets.

 

It really is amazing what a difference those washers make to the ride height. Especially once the new doughnuts settle in
