Hi people,

ok few of you know i've been gathering parts for stage 1 kits. just need a few more bits. cheif among being the link pipe that goes from the manifold to the back box. i have a cooperfreeflow manifold and a RC40 backbox. been looking on mini spars and i can't figure out which pipe i need to link them. so can anyone tell me please?

also another thing thats confusing me (again mini spares site) are fanbelts. i want to replace mine as it's probly never been done and its just somthing i want to do. so which belt do i need. i keep finding ones that say short compotion ones . or should i just go to motor factors for it to make life simple?

hmmm....let me think what else do i need to ask....

Oh, what needle for a 998 with a cooper freeflow manifold. rc40 backbox and a K&N cone filter.

nope thats about it. unless someone has any suggestion for things i might have forgotten.

I think AAA needle is a good start for a stage 1 kit.

I’m guessing your 82 will have a 16/17acr alternator fitted, so the correct belt will be will be minispares part no. GCB10813

also anyone know were i can get a knife edged butterfly valve? just don't know if i could do it myself. (guess what book i just got )

fianly. carb rebuild kits, whats all this wax and none wax stuff about. i got a su hs4 i have no idea if its wax or not.

edit

also on the rebuild kits how do you pop the old copper sleaves out the carb and how do you fit the new ones witouht screwing them up.

also can anyone thing of anything else i'll need for my stage 1 kit.
