Hello I am working on getting a 92 SPI that has been sitting for 4 years that i just bought back to life,

the car has two wing mirrors, and the door mirrors had blanking plates. but i only have one now.

i was hoping someone on this forum might know where to find/buy some

please ignore the crusty car photos, i haven't gotten to the strip and polish part of the restoration.

You probably have to make your own.
Might look good in polished aluminium with domed screws.

Why dont you put some badge like a Union Jack flag to do the same as a blanking plate? I did it with my car and I am happy with the result.

You would find them in Japan as they are rather big on fitting wing mirrors and blanking the door slots. My car has them.

There is a British guy in Japan with the FB page 'Classic Minis Japan' who sources parts. Worth a look at his site to see some of the cool parts you can get out of Japan also..
