Rebuilding Su Hs4 Carb

Right going to try asking this one more time then give up and buy the book.

On a su hs4 carb. the copper bushes for the spindle. how do you remove them and put in new ones?

im gonna be doing this too. if your carbs off and you've tried removing them then ignore me, but i assumed you just popped them out from each side witch a blunt object of sorts?

well i've been looking at a spare carb i have and the bushes sit in a hole with a lip. so you can't push then all the way thro.

so you can't beat them out from one side as theirs a lip in the way. think i'm going to have to get the red carb rebuilding book to figure it out.

did have one suggestion of forcing a bolt in then pulling it out.

if you buy a full rebuild kit from burlen then i think you get pretty good instructions on how to rebuild it with the kit

You'll have to drill the old bushes out then ream to the correct size. There was a miniworld article with a brief bit on this which you could download for free on their website, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

beacuse i can't understand the burlen site and i wanted to change over to non waxstat i also didn't want a overrun valve that i already don't have.

in my world it made more sence and i needed a few things from minispares.
