one just went. old age or something another looked like it had just been catching on the cowl for a long time.(witness marks, shiny un-rusted steel).

I did exactly the same to mine when my crankcase breather pipe came loose.

Didnt even hear it go. Lucky i have an electronic fan on the inner wing side so it didnt leave me stranded!

Yep, they are made of harder more brittle plastic, unlike the slightly more flexible originals with shatter just like that one did.
