Hi all,

does the MPI engine have locking tabs for all the bolts that hold the transfer case to the engine/ gearbox ? the bolts behind the flywheel.

I can't find mine so I'm wondering if there were any there in the first place.

Thanks.

Pete.

IIRC they were dumped in favor of Loctite.

I'm sure they dropped the locktabs when there went from Studs (and nuts) to flanged bolts.

Yes - in fact you’d struggle to use lock tabs ettectively with the flanged bolts
