I've just fitted a metro distributor with electronic ignition, you know the one with the modual attached to the side. Now my rev counter jumps around all over the place and when I turn on the lights, windscreen wipers, lights and fan the engine missfires, anyone have any ideas?

hi did you change the coil? for the 1 that goes with the elec dizzy as they are different from a points coil:'( Hi everyone

i gave up on leci ignition because of this!! can be a sign of module breaking down!! just make sure coil is wired correctly and that u have the right type of coil either ballasted or not!! must be the right one!!
