Hi everyone Its been a few years since I have been on here you helped me and my son tremendously with his 1980 mini city E basket case about 8 years back . ( he's still got it and  after many adventures some I am sure I never got to know about, I am doing it again ,no rust this time but paint and upgrades )

I need some thoughts from people who know Minis and I was hoping you could help me out and you have my  apologies if I am on the wrong bit of the forum.

I have the chance to buy, 1989 mini 30 rose, special edition for £5000,and would like to hear any thoughts on its value i am not after a valuation just your thoughts.

I have not seen the car yet I am going probably Monday or Tuesday.
I am buying the car to sell so I need a bit of profit after the bits and pieces that may need doing, scuffed wheels etc but I am not in a hurry to sell and will probably wait while early summer.

Details as far as I know :- 1989, Mini 30 Rose in Cherry Red.
18000 miles, full service history
been in the same family since new the husband signed it over to his wife some years ago.
been garaged all its life, no rust and is as standard as the day it was born, alloys ,arches half leather.
currant MOT and serviced 2017 so not in barn find condition.

The website "How rare is my car"  say 56 on the road,97 SORNED.
If I was buying this to keep i wouldn't hesitate, so thoughts please, ladies and gentlemen and thanks for your time . Andy

Mini 30 and Mini Rose are two different models, if it is Cherry red, half leather and alloys it is a Mini 30, Mini Rose is white with pink roof, cloth seats and steel wheels with plastic trims. sounds like it's a Mini 30.
