I am Norman Nelson, of Shasta California and am active in the Mini community in the USA. My wife and I won 6 classic Minis and 1 BMW MINI. We do participate in Mini events in Europe. We attended MINI United at Silverstone in 2009, and MINI United 2012 at the Paul Ricard Circuit in Le Castelle France. We participated in the 2009 London 2 Brighton Run and our Guinness World Record plaque is proudly displayed on our wall in my office.
We have participated in three Mini Takes the States (2006, 2014, 2016), we attend most all Mini Meet West gatherings. We are the founders of SHasta Minis and members of several Mini Clubs. We put on a yearly High Performance Driving Event called MINI Thunder which is held at Thunderhill Raceway in northern California.
We are constantly reaching out to meet members of the Mini community.
