Helloo again, just incase anyones read my previous posts, I've double checked and its not unleaded buuuuuuuut now I got a major problem...I've done my sparks, points and gap on distrobutor, and NOW the damned things started pinking like crazy so i spent today on it, I got the timing to line up perfect by the Haynes but it made it even worse, and on a short drive (maybe 3 miles) the temp gague was about to touch the red (thank god for bustops)

Anyone have any idea whats going on. Oh I did the timing with a strobe gun.

Thanks

Ok well I feel like an idiot, when I set my points I forgot to rotate my engine so that the points were properly apart. So I fixed that reset the timing again and just for the sake of it I set my mixture perfect aswell and...well my dads words were it sounds like a new engine, from Drivers PoV it feels beautiful again.

Cheers anyway
