Hi guys, my friend lost his bunch of keys for his mini... no spares either. Luckily doors are left unlocked and the boot never locked... how would one go about changing the locks ? , push button type, believe the ignition is easy and just needs the be split on the steering lock sheer bolts. I may even look at cutting him a new ignition key as I have some good pictures of his ignition key when I 3D printed him a new fob....

remove the boot lock and on the square shank just under rubber boot there should be the key number stamped on

Development. Fortunatly years ago i 3d printed my friend a new key fob as his disintegrated. Gave that image to the lock smith and he made us a new key, Worked first try..... I took the boot lock out the square drive only had 3 numbers not enough for the bitting, however he made a new key, i assume he picked it removed the core and make the key from the pin lengths. We now have all door and the ignition sorted!!! Im going to pick the petrol cap. Maybe get a key made or just put a new cap on. Its cheaper ....
