I am converting an Auto Mk 2 to manual. I am having difficulty obtaining an actual pedal.
Does any one know whether an available post 76 item will fit and be correctly operational?
Mk 2 Clutch Pedal.

It will fit and work OK. You can also reshape the pedal pad back to a square one.
