that would literally be impossible, theres housing, shops and a main road that would need to be bought out

The Brooklands website  info mentions a hill climb  - does anyone here know if anyone can have a go on the day  / is it timed / free ?

 

Also is there a concours / show n shine to enter ?

On previous years the test hill climb has started at 11.45 and then again at 15.15. You sign on one hour before each session and it's free. I don't know if it's timed.

They used to do a show n shine but I don't think they have done one since 2013. Instead they judge all the Mini's that attend and give awards in different categories. I won an award one year, much to my surprise.

It's a great day out and the opener to the Mini season.

Just completed a few jobs on the mini (cv joint/remote g box mount and steering boot) - given it a wax and shine all ready for Sunday..

 

If you see me say hello - OEWhite /black roof / x4 Lucas Spots J reg Mk3  Cooper S - . I will have a go at the hill and if theres a show n shine will be up for that too..
