Next thing on my list is fitting the Stainless exhaust, Apex Camber arms and Pivot Headlight Controller.

My Stainless Cat-Back turned up today Still waiting on the front section but thought i'd like to see how much improvement a full system has on a cat-back. so today im fitting it.

Unfortunatly the 2 studs in the Cat have sheared off..

Getting the grinder on it once the showers have stopped, here are the pics ive taken so far.

Old and New, Not that the old system is resrictive or anything lol :

A smart little package turned up for me today, which included my 3" Dump pipe, Front pipe and Decat.

Didnt take too long to fit but i finally found where my exhaust was leaking!!!

Got a stainless manifold, once i get a new turbo i will probably wrap the lot up.

Removed the water sponge off the boot too, rust isnt bad as i thought.. but will give it a weld and smooth soon. so far a bit of duct tape will have to do.

Got a new wheel too, but will have to make a boss or sell it and get something else.

Posted Image

The intercooler has been fitted, i did all the work in 8hrs and if the front bumber wasnt so much of a pig, i could have saved an hour or so..

actually funny you should say that... the dolomite is a mates and since has been crushed. But we were on about fitting a 200sx 1.8 turbo engine into his 1850 shell at one point.. ;D

Did you have to get a remap after fitting all this kit? Owning a Scoobie, I know when I go down the route of FMIC, and replacing the cat for a performance one, needs the ECU remapped. It's looking good, but make sure you tighten all the clips up so the don't blow off under pressure :D

No, its not been remapped yet. The nissan ECU is suprisingly good for stock and with the mods ive not had to change anything yet.

Once ive fitted 550cc injectors and a bigger turbo i will be taking it to horsham developements for a custom map.

the side profile looks sweet as!! get a motec ECU, i believe it upped my college tutors car neer 150bhp not bad for a grand i think, what else is planned for it...also things are becoming more and more clear with that bumper sticker and the crazy pic of u in the for sale section!

a grand? ouch! but it must be good.

If i were to buy one outright, id go for the Apexi Power FC and hand controller. But ive taking my car to Horsham Developements who will chip and map the ECU according to the cars spec for £360 (chip included) Jez horsham is a member of SXOC and is recommended by nearly everyone there.

Once i get bigger injectors and Turbo, i should be seeing 320-340fwhp.. thats more than enough for me.. :proud:

next plans are to chase up the guy whose ran off with £530 of my money.. and beat him to death and re-order the bodykit from somewhere else..
