Can anyone identify these washers/shims? they are 38mm x 2mm thick and must have come from my gearbox or engine.  I've searched Haynes manuals and Minispares parts lists without success. I feel they must have come from a shaft because of the size of them but can't for the life of me place them!

They can only have come from the engine or gearbox as I haven't taken anything else apart

They're not tower bolt washers, they're not big enough

They're unmarked by having a nut or bolt tightened on to them so not washers and still have machining marks so this suggests they can't be a shim as one face at least would be polished, also they must come from a pair of locations otherwise one thicker spacer? would have been used?

It appears no-one recognises these parts as being Mini - I can only think they slipped into the batch of parts I took for zinc plating - it will probably come to me in the middle of the night in a months time!!
