Just wondering if anyone could recommend a tuner/rolling road in Hertfordshire or surrounding areas please ?  I've got a 1275 which I'm currently bedding in and will require a tune up soon.

Anyone used Revivals before in Royston ?

Great thanks, I've just booked in at Regency Autos where Peter Baldwin is based for end of month.  Is £100+vat per hour about right for rolling/tune per hour ?

You can't go wrong having Peter Baldwin setting your engine up, he did mine a couple of years ago when he was at Wilshers garage. I paid something in the region of £250 for around a 2 hour session inc. a set of plugs and a pair of needles.

He operated the rolling road at Wilshers garage for years, but they closed the rolling road last year, I believe for insurance reasons.
Fortunately for us he didn't hang up his boots and he continues to tune our cars.

I was very impressed when I visited peter Baldwin yesterday. Out of interest as I know rolling roads are just a guide and are sometimes inaccurate. My rebuilt 1275 cooper engine showed 73.9bhp at flywheel with 81lb torque.

Engine spec :
Rebuilt 1275 cooper carb engine (hiff44)
Maniflow lcb and rc40 back box with cone filter
Med clutch kit with ultralight flywheel
