Yo folks.

ok i got my rebuild kit and i'm puzzel. i figured out what most of the parts are. little black washer for the bash pot piston, butterfly valve and spindel, float needle bit (by the way how do you take the float bit apart?) but i'm confused by a large gasget,

its about 2.5inch wide with a with a little over a 2 inch hole in the middle. its a round ring gasget.

i have NO idea what its for. 1st i thought it was for the bottom of the dashpot but its too small. so i'm stumped.

any ideas?

There's a little pin that slides out which'll take the float out, and the needle just falls out.

It's not the gasket for the float chamber lid is it?

could be for the bottom of a hif carb!!!! just in the wrong packaging!! or it could be just a leftover from the cuting out of some other gaskets!!

could be man, i mean the only place i've found it to fix is inside the piston....which is a bit pointless.
