Hi - I am currently changing over to a DSN oil temp sender and have hit a few problems - a few questions:

1. Should I be using ptfe tape of similar on the connections to ensure everything is sealed?

2. I am finding that the sender hits the bottom of the alternator. Is there an alternative type of sender that sits lower?

3. Doing the left hand bolt up is difficult! With the original version you can just get a socket straight on it.

Any help much appreciated.

use a spanner. and bend the terminal slightly.

sender needs to be matched to the gauge.
