Can you help me ID this A-Series block. Block number
12HFH7779U
The only reason i ask is oil filter location

1275 high compression is all I got

If it has a long oil filter looking a bit like the starter motor situated horizontally then you've an auto box 1275.

Its my friends. We collected it yesterday. Both interesting finds as its Supercharged. Yes it has a horizontal oil filter above the starter motor but its a manual. Confusing one!

Sounds like a South African spec 1275 manual. They used an inline type block (marina?) With the filter above the dizzy

Been looking to try and find what it is. That’s exactly it, ive not come across one before! Now i know, any thing else to know on these?
