Gauge's

Ive got a mini with the 2 clock's and i want 3 mabye 4 to put on the center console, what ones do you think would be useful to have?

oil pressure gauge
rev counter

They are alright, but not as useful as those three. Vacuum gauge just makes you feel guilty everytime
you floor it :D

Well i was thinking 3 clocks in a row, then i though 4 silver & white clocks round a silver push start button might look good what u all think?

Vacuum gauge is cool, because whenever you have passenger they are always like: "ooooo whats that?"

Oil temperature and pressure, the two key guages in my opinion :D

careful with vac gauges....they tend to break if you drop them.

i had to make this decision a couple of years ago when i made my first custom dash!! couldnt decide so i had them all!!, lol

all tim gauges
volts
amps
water temp
oil temp
oil press
vacuum
fuel

add that to a smiths 100mm speedo and a tim 80mm tacho on the column and it kept passengers amused for hours watching the megatron of gauges wobble about as i drove :D:D:D:D:D

not far wrong i had speedo in front of me and off to the right 4 gauges in middle on top row and 3 below and tacho was on the column!!

volts amps to see if the batt and alternaters in good nick and oil pressure guage
u can tell when the car is warm from this guage anyway

3 in a row look best and rev counter just get a 3 pod version to replace ur 2 pod jobby tis what im doing atm :proud:

Thanks people is it a hard job to change the 2 clock pod to the 3 clock pod?

nope ull need the mounting bracket (i have a sapre one for sale if u wouldlike one) that bolts to the bulkheadand if ur lucky u should have the wiring already there for the rev counter then just plug in also i think u may need the smaller size dash backing thingy so it fits properly

i will be doing mine very soon when they turn up if u would like any photos!!!!
