Hello all,

where is the best place to purchase an engine kit these days?

 

I'm not after anything special, just a freshly bored 1293 or 1310 etc etc.

 

I have an exchange unit and have a modified head so it would need matching up to that.

I could buy a kit, or I could get the engineering work done locally (Lancashire) and do it that way, so any recommended machine shops?

I was thinking Minisport....?

Gearbox will be going to Guessworx

Whilst the MS short engine is good by the time you pay for delivery and either ship yours down there or cough up another £500 quid its not cheap.

 

I am only 3 miles from Mini Sprt
