Gear Stick Rattle / Vibration

Maybe not an issue, but my i can hear and feel my gear stick shaking/vibrating while in gear and driving. 

 

Is this a problem?

Not really as they do vibrate, are you sure it's your stick and not the heater or dash?

You can double check the rubber mounts are all in good condition on the gearchange mechanism.

 

The remote change levers have small "anti rattle plungers" which are tensioned with small springs. If they wear out they can cause rattling. They also have a spring on the pivot point

 

For a rod change, possibly one of these would hold a bit of tension on the lever and reduce some rattles?

first thing I would do is slap some grease in the shift housing.
