
What Strategies Do You Use To Remember To Turn Lights Off?

Unlike modern cars with warning bleepers it's so easy to leave your lights on and come back hours later to a flat battery. Amazed if no one on hear has done that at least once!
So what do you do to remember to turn your lights off?

I remember as its seriously annoying to have a flat battery
Always shut everything off before the engine and never switch anything on before the engine off...old school like me simple
In theory you should check round your car before and after you go out...visual check tyres / lights...in the real world its not done
But it can help

Wow, didnt realise such a thing was available.
Thought about this problem as my son has just got a mini, and he cant ever remember to switch the bathroom light off!

I go through mine like a pilot making sure its all turned off but I like the sound of a buzzer!

Must be a BMW MINI, lets face it they're large enough.

I have the extensions on the switches so it's pretty obvious when I turn the key off. It doesn't help if your GPS falls off the windscreen during the night and turns on the headlights though!

every time i get out of the car i disconnect the battery
