Restoring MKII Mini 1000... Apart from a million other bits I also need a new thermostat. Looking through the Mini Sport catalogue I see there are 3 types available : 74° 82° and 88°

Which one do I need ????

Thanks a lot chaps.

Any opinions on the incredibly hot Summers we get in my part of the world ? Are the lower temp thermostats designed for hotter climates?

didn't have one fitted to one of my cars but that had a 1340 engine and heated up nice and quickly! Normally have an 88 degree one!
