I have been offered a pair of fiesta calipers for free :proud:

unfortunately I have been told that a rebuild is a must on them. Having no experience of actually rebuilding calipers (esp. ford ones) does anyone have any insight into this? Piece of cake? :w00t:

would a rebuid kit come with instructions :w00t:

can't see it being that hard to be honest.

what you could do is use them as an exchange for refurbed ones from a motor factors.

think when i checked they were about 25 quid each

the deal is that they will fit under most/all 10" wheels, you have to spend some serious money on some 's' calipers if you want discs otherwise...

Miniboo and maybe some others have more details in their project threads, but yes, turned down....its easier than turning them down AND modifying standard mini/metro calipers (but also an option)

Ok got my calipers now and after a thorough clean ive discovered that the hard plastic (feels like plastic) runners that the calipers slide on are missing off one of the mounts.

These are not fixed to the mount but held in place with a split pin,im hoping that they are designed to be a serviceable item and can be replaced. :-

;D anyone help? :dozing:
